Education Programs
We offer a number of education programs throughout the Methow Valley.
In the past we’ve focused on youth education, but we’re looking forward to offering educational opportunities for adults in the near future!

What we do.
At Methow Recycles we work closely with our local schools to promote a culture of waste awareness. Our staff and volunteers engage students of all ages through lessons and hands-on activities that focus on a variety of topics from recycling and plastic pollution to reuse and repair. Our education program is led by staff with support from our volunteer-led Education Committee.
We offer in-class lessons, field trips, and hands-on activities to compliment various units of study. We also host an after school club for 3rd-6th grade at Methow Valley Elementary school called Green Team. The students of Green Team explore the world of waste prevention and resource conservation through field trips, activities, and action-oriented projects.
