Earth Day 2025

To honor Earth Day this year, it felt necessary to do something a little more relevant to what's happening in our world. Instead of putting on our annual festival (which we love dearly!), we wanted to give our community an opportunity to take some action locally and show our public lands and those who steward them that we care.

We are collaborating with the Forest Service and the Methow Valley Trails Collaborative on a week of action where we can show how much we care for the outdoor places that mean so much to us. We've also added a few events to the calendar from other organizations that take you outdoors during Earth Week or teach you a new way to reduce waste.

Check out the calendar below to see all the happenings during Earth Week. Click here to sign up to help with a trail project. For more details on events during Dark Sky Week including stargazing, visit the Methow Valley Citizen’s Council Website.

Our third annual Earth Day Festival brought in the musical talents of Tacoma-based Island Bound and local favorites Crunk Monks!

The community showed up for a fun afternoon of upcycled crafts, ecological knowledge, art, and celebrating low-waste living in the Methow Valley!

Stay tuned for more Earth Day fun next year!

2023 Earth Day Celebration

Our second annual Earth Day Celebration was incredible! The community showed up to dance, celebrate, learn, connect with each other and honor this beautiful planet we call home. Be sure to catch the fun next year!

Thank you to everyone who attended and to our local businesses who sponsored the event. You each helped to make it so special!
