Camp ReMake

Camp ReMake is our annual summer day camp located in Twisp.
Kids learn how to reduce, reuse, recycle, and repair - all while playing games, creating art, and exploring the beautiful Methow Valley.

Update: We are sorry to have to share this news but unfortunately, we were unable to secure the funding needed to put on Camp ReMake this year. Bringing youth into our work and giving them opportunities to be a part of the solution is incredibly important to us. We will take the rest of the year to strategize with community partners about how we can bring this camp back next year and have it be a mainstay for children in our valley.

For kids age 7 - 11 yrs old

FREE to MVSD students
$75/week for all other kids
Registration opens March 20

Session 1: June 19 - 23 Plastic Party!

  • For 2023, Methow Recycles is partnering with The Confluence for Camp ReMake: Trashion Edition!

  • Each week, we’ll focus on a different material (plastic, metal, or paper) and kids will make fun costumes and outfits out of that material.

  • Camp will be held at the Independent Learning Center on the TwispWorks campus in Twisp.

  • Kids will learn about the importance of resource conservation through recycling, repurpose and repair - all while designing fun upcycled costumes.

  • Camp is FREE for students enrolled in the Methow Valley School District, thanks to support from the Winthrop Kiwanis and The Confluence.
